In January 2025 the Foundation welcomed three new directors to its board.

Edward Andrew “Andy” Chapman, Director   Andy is an in-house US indirect tax advisor for Accenture LLP.  Since 2013, he has served as a board member and treasurer of Lake Arthur Reclamation Company, a privately held family corporation focused on agricultural development, wildlife management, and energy.  He is an Eagle Scout and has served on various committees of Scouting America at the local, regional, and national levels.  He was elected twice by the World Scout Conference to serve on the World Scout Committee, the main executive board of the World Organization of the Scout Movement. On the World Scout Committee, he served as Vice Chairperson (2017-2021) and Chairperson (2021-2024); also serving as an ex-officio board member of the World Scout Foundation..

Mark J. Chilutti, Director   Mark Chilutti has spent his career as a fundraiser at a small hospital in Philadelphia where he was a patient. He is an Eagle Scout and currently serves as the Scouting America – Cradle of Liberty Council President. He spent 18 years on the national Order of the Arrow committee, has served on other regional and national committees, and co-hosts a monthly webinar aimed at helping Scouting America councils improve their fund-raising.  He is a motivational speaker and frequent trainer on national webinars and conferences for the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Nikolaus K. Newman, Director   Nik Newman began his Scouting career in San Antonio, Texas, where he earned his Eagle in 1997 with Troop 285 and began active participation with the Order of the Arrow.  As an adult he served there as a Unit Commissioner, District Commissioner, Council NESA Chair, and OA Associate Lodge Adviser.  He and his lifelong love and wife, Katie, have two boys, both Cub Scouts, now living in Houston, where he has served as Cubmaster and Den Leader.  Nik continues his service to Scouting America in national and territory leadership positions.  He is a Senior Underwriter with Crum & Forster.
